Youth Reconciliation Ambassadors visiting HLC

A group of participants in the Youth Reconciliation Ambassadors program organizhed by the Youth Education Committee from Belgrade visited the Huanitarian Law Center on Tuesday, December 25^th, 2012. Students from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, and Serbia, who use this study trip to discuss problems and challenges that their societies face in the post-conflict time period.

Katarina Janković from the HLC presented the history and the projects of this organization, after which they had an interesting discussion about the need for official apologies by presidents of states and the responsibility of the media for the sprseading of war propaganda during the conflict and for the process of dealing with the past today.
