Lovas

On October 18, 1991, in the village of Lovas (Republic of Croatia), members of Serbian forces forced about 50 civilians to walk through a minefield, resulting in 20 deaths and 14 injuries. One civilian was killed on the way to the minefield. Between October 10, when the Yugoslav People’s Army captured Lovas, and October 18, a total of 70 civilians were killed in the village.
