More than 46 victims’ family attended a presentation of statistical data about the killed and missing in Kosovo Polje/ Fushë Kosovë municipality which was organized by HLC-Kosovo in that municipality on September 17th 2009.
HLC and HLC Kosovo organized on 18th September 2009 in Obiliq/Obilić a presentation of information about the killed, dead and missing Albanians from this municipality for the period from January 1998 until June 1999. The presentation was organized in the Municipal Assembly Hall in Obiliq/Obilić. 40 victims’ family members attended it. At the beginning, Vice President of the Municipality Hajriz Bekteshi addressed all the attendees. One reporter from the local media and one KFOR representative were also present.
During the verification of the information in the HLC’s database, victims’ family members provided HLC-Kosovo with 26 photographs and 44 documents.
On April 27th, 1999, Serbian forces killed or separated out of a refugee column 384 Albanians in the villages of the Caragojs valley, and deported other locals to Albania. The Humanitarian Law Center (HLC) presented data on those who were killed or went missing in the Đakovica/Gjakovë Municipality in Meja/ Mejë.
Over 300 family members of killed and missing persons from the Glogovac/Gllogoc Municipality attended the presentation of data on victims for the January 1998 – June 1999 period held by the Humanitarian Law Center (HLC).
On April 18th, 2009, the Kosovo office of the Humanitarian Law Center (HLC Kosovo) held the first presentation of the 1998-1999 register of killed and missing persons in Kosovo in Suva reka/Suharrekë. The presentation of a tentative register of killed and missing persons from the Municipality of Suva Reka/Suharrekë was attended by more than 70 family members of the victims.
On 11 July 2009, the Kosovo office of the Humanitarian Law Center (HLC Kosovo) presented data regarding killed and missing persons from the municipality of Lipljan between the 1998-1999 period. The presentation was held at Lipljan, and was attended by over 50 family members of the victims.
ORAHOVAC, 13 June 2009 – More than 100 members of the families of the victims participated in a public presentation of the interim results of the register of killed and missing in the municipality of Orahovac/Rahovec in Kosovo.
Organized by the Humanitarian Law Center – Kosovo (HLC-Kosovo), the presentation was opened by the Mayor of the municipality of Orahovac/Rahovec, Qazim Qeska.
