The Sušica camp in Vlasenica was established on May 31, 1992, by order of the commander of the Birčanska Brigade of the VRS, Svetozar Andrić. The camp operated until the end of September the same year. Between 2,000 and 2,500 people passed through Sušica, and more than 200 detainees were killed.
