On this day, the Čelebići camp in Bosnia and Herzegovina was closed. During its eight months of existence, Bosnian Croat and Muslim forces committed severe crimes against Serbian detainees, including murders, torture, and rape. Around 400 people passed through ‘Čelebići’, mostly male civilians but also some women, and at least 14 detainees were killed. The ICTY prosecuted and convicted three perpetrators of these crimes.
