Education

HLC implements educational programs and provides literature on international humanitarian law, human rights, and post-conflict justice.

It organizes the Regional School of Transitional Justice for young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, and Serbia, as well as the National School of Transitional Justice for youth from Serbia. These schools aim to equip future decision-makers and educators with knowledge about recent history and strategies for addressing its legacy based on judicially established facts. The schools enable young people to critically assess the past and responsibly contribute to discussions in their communities.

HLC manages a specialized library dedicated to collecting and preserving multidisciplinary materials related to transitional justice and dealing with the past. It allows HLC staff, as well as external researchers, students and others, to access relevant literature and information in these fields. The library is integrated into the COBISS electronic bibliographic and library database, and its collection can be searched online.
